With the big reveal just a few days away, this won’t stop some who have had early access to the Samsung Galaxy S7 to actually leak information (but it’s up to you whether to believe them or not). The latest information given to an online site from an “anonymous insider” contains not just some specs but even images and a short video showing off the upcoming new flagship from the Korean OEM and it should get you all the more excited, if you’re looking forward to a new Galaxy device.
Specs wise, as expected (or as it should be), it will be coming with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It will also have an IP67 or IP68 rating to give it more waterproof and shockproof talents. Good news for those who hated the non-micro SD card thing of the current Galaxy S6 flagship products: the Galaxy S7 will reportedly have the micro-SD card support back, the more to expand your device’s storage capacity. The 12MP main camera may not sound much, but it will supposedly have larger pixels like that of the Nexus 6P and 5X. Oh and there will be no USB-C here, to the relief of some and the disappointment of others.
As for the leaked pictures and videos, it doesn’t give us anything surprising, although this may be the first raw footage of the Galaxy S7 that the public has been able to see. We have a metal frame and glass both in the front and back. Of course you have the usual “iconic home button”. The interface looks pretty much the same, but maybe it does hide the bloated software Samsung has become infamous for. But let’s hope not.
