Facebook’s opening up live video streaming to everyone

Facebook’s Live Video feature is slowly rolling out to people across the world, having previously been restricted to US users, public figures and verified pages.

Live Video was first added for a limited audience back in December and the new content sharing feature will soon appear for users everywhere as a new menu option when posting a status.
When selected, your live broadcast will be viewable within your newsfeed, where you will be able to see how many people are watching.
Viewers will also be able to subscribe if they like what they see and when you’re done, Facebook automatically saves the post on your timeline so people can watch it later.
Facebook hasn’t provided details of where it’s rolling out first but it should be available for you soon.
The feature rolled out with iOS users ahead of Android in the initial phase, so perhaps expect the same pattern here too
